Bangalore Toddlers
Free guide to baby & toddler activities in Bangalore (Bengaluru)

About Bangalore Toddlers

Bangalore Toddlers is a free guide to activities for babies and toddlers in Bangalore (Bengaluru). Areas covered in Central Bengaluru, East Bengaluru, South Bengaluru, North Bengaluru, West Bengaluru, Outskirts. Venue facts are hand-checked against official pages; public library branch calendars (Bangalore Public Library (KSPLS) branches, Indiranagar and Koramangala bookshop storytimes without a public calendar) aren't connected yet. It gathers storytelling sessions, children's libraries, museums, parks, lakes, play areas and kid events into one phone-friendly page, so you can plan a morning around nap time.

It's made by a parent. There are no ads, no accounts and no tracking cookies. The site is not affiliated with any venue, library or government body.

How it works

  • Every place and event is hand-checked against its official page (venue sites, Karnataka Tourism, museum and government pages), with the source and the date it was checked on every listing.
  • Playgrounds and splash pads come from OpenStreetMap; children's events from the Bangalore International Centre calendar; weather and air quality from Open-Meteo.
  • Every listing links back to the original source. If a source is down, its listings are left out rather than guessed.

Right now the guide lists 1 storytimes (0 for babies), 40 parks and playgrounds and 21 areas.

Frequently asked questions

What is Bangalore Toddlers?

Bangalore Toddlers is a free website listing things to do with babies and toddlers in Bangalore (Bengaluru): storytelling sessions, children's libraries, museums, parks and lakes, play areas and kid-friendly events. It is run by a local parent and is not affiliated with any venue.

Where does the information come from?

Every place and event links to the official page it was checked against, with the date it was checked: venue websites, Karnataka Tourism, museum and government pages, plus OpenStreetMap (playgrounds, map pins), the Bangalore International Centre events calendar and Open-Meteo (weather and air quality). Nothing is invented; when a source doesn't say, we say 'not stated'.

How often is it updated?

The site rebuilds every morning. Hours, prices and event dates change, so always check the venue's page before you go.

Is it free?

The site is free. Many parks are free; museums, play areas and some storytelling sessions charge, and each listing shows the price in rupees (₹) the source gives.

Hand-checked reference tables

Kept by hand in the site's code, each row with its source and the date it was checked. Anything a source doesn't say is shown as "not confirmed".

Report a problem

Every session, park and pick has a "⚑ Report a problem" link (cancelled, moved, closed, gate broken or anything else). It opens your email app with a message to the site owner, with the item already filled in. Hand-kept details show the date they were last checked.

Privacy

No analytics, no cookies, no tracking. Your city, age and nap choices are saved only in your browser (localStorage) and are never sent anywhere.

The "email me when my city is added" link just opens your own email app. "Add to calendar" downloads a file straight to your device, and calendar subscriptions are plain files your calendar app fetches; we can't see who subscribes. "Send this week to…" uses your phone's own share sheet or copies a link; nothing is sent to us.
